Join us for Spirit of Speyside 2025

Speyburn Single Malt Whisky will once again be joining in the celebrations at the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2025.  Returning for the third time, 2023 saw us open the doors to our riverside distillery to the public for the first time in 125 years of our whisky making history.
The last two events proved a huge success. In 2023 with tickets selling out in just 12 hours and over 160 visitors welcomed through the distillery’s doors, we also received the ‘Best New Event Award’. We returned in 2024 and our  15 Years Old Speyburn won the gold award for 13 to 17 Years Old category.  If you have visited us before, rest assured there is still more to discover at Speyburn Distillery.  This year we have a brand new experience that will excite even the most seasoned of whisky enthusiasts, plus the return of our most loved events.

Highlights for 2025 Spirit of Speyside: 

Speyburn Manager's Cask Experience 

Join Distillery Manager Euan Henderson and Senior Global Brand Ambassador Stuart Baxter for a truly special guided tasting in our historic dunnage warehouse. This exclusive experience gives you the chance to sample Speyburn in a setting that’s as unique as the whisky itself. Euan will personally lead you through the tasting, drawing straight from some of his favourite and oldest hand-selected casks, offering personal insights into the story behind each dram.  

As he explains how the different cask types influence the flavour and character of Speyburn, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation that our barrels are the quietly beating heart of our distillery. Treated with the utmost care and attention, they rest under our watchful eyes, waiting until the liquid is absolutely right before moving it on to be bottled. Guests will be among some of the first people to sample drams from our new Global Travel Retail range.

Speyburn After Hours 

EXPERIENCE BEST NEW EVENT 2024 SHORTLISTED SPEYBURN AFTER HOURS: 
Come join us for an unforgettable evening filled with good company, live entertainment, delicious street food and drinks. Set against the backdrop of our riverside distillery, it's the perfect place to unwind.  

During this event, you’ll have the chance to see firsthand the care and passion that goes into every drop we craft. Take a look around our Historic Scotland Listed Drum Maltings and sample drams from our new core range, along with a few surprises along the way. We can’t wait to share it with you. 

After sharing some great moments, guests are invited to join us at The Craigellachie Hotel, where the celebration will continue for those who’d like to join in.  Whether you’re savouring the last sip of your dram or simply enjoying the laughter of new friends, we’ll make sure you’re well taken care of every step of the way. 

In a serene Scottish valley, tucked in amongst the tree-lined banks of the Granty Burn, you’ll find the iconic Speyburn Distillery. It's beautiful stonework and pagoda roof peeking through the trees make it one of the most picturesque distilleries in the region. 
 
Since 1897, Speyburn Single Malt has drawn from these refreshing waters to craft a whisky as inviting as its famous Speyside home. It remains the only distillery to use its crystal clear water in the whisky-making process.

For over 125 years, we've been channelling the spirit of our riverside home, simply following our own course, crafting a whisky with nothing but enjoyment in mind.  Matured in hand-selected casks by our Master Distiller, our deliciously smooth whisky speaks for itself - Bourbon Cask, Rum Cask Finish, 10 Years Old, 15 Years Old and an 18 Years Old. Ranging in flavour and intensity, there is something to suit every preference.

Tickets for Speyburn’s exclusive tours in partnership with the festival can be previewed on Friday  24th January 2025 and will be available to purchase from 3rd of Feburary  via the our dedicated Spirit of Speyside page.
